It is rare to find men who can physically achieve several to multiple orgasms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus far, more research is needed to determine if the refractory period is caused by one or more physiological factors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>How do females experience the refractory period?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The refractory period in women can be substantially shorter compared to men. Women may become aroused and even produce succeeding orgasms shortly after the last one.
